Meet Katrina
Who is Katrina?
Hi, I am Katrina, it's a pleasure to meet you.
When I was 18 I moved abroad on a whim to complete my Bachelor's degree and I never looked back from throwing myself in the void and trying new things. It is this daringness and passion that I bring to my writing and content.
As a Queer, Passionate, Loud, Animal-print loving girl from the South-West of the UK (with the accent to match) fitting in was never an option. I was always supposed to walk to my drum. Let's work together if you have a brand or organisation that also does this!
My goal in life is to be one of the queens of sex tech by 2026 - from my writing and content creation services found on every leading sextech brand's website to my other business Aweni Pleasure - and you can bet I am manifesting that every full moon!
What is my story?
Since graduating with my Masters's in 2018 I tried to tone down and join the corporate world, working as a communications officer in a range of industries from political education to B2B lighting before realising I was never going to fit into this world.
Realising something was missing and taking stock of the things I loved to do throughout my previous roles; I realised writing was passion and getting to be creative was when I was at my happiest. So, in 2022 I quit my job and decided to become a freelancer offering copywriting and content creation services alongside starting my other businesses Aweni Pleasure to talk about Vaginismus.
Inspired by the open, educational and shame-free conversations around sex, pleasure and sexual health that I grew up with, choosing to work with sex tech and fem tech brands in areas of wellness, health and pleasure was an easy choice.
I knew this was a chance to showcase my knowledge and passion on the topics and work with brands that are just as passionate as I am about changing how the world looks at pleasure and sex.
How can I help you?
In 2023 I re-branded and doubled down on my writing and content creation.
Words can seduce and if you want it, I can write it. From writing a sexy product description and social caption (the LBD for sales) to igniting those Google searches with SEO-optimised website copy and blogs.
For those of you who need some visual stimulation with your content, I also create social media and UGC content for you to use; from packaging, GRWM and product reviews to social templates to keep your Instagram grid looking as satisfying as a matching lingerie set feels.
