The Brief
To create relevant in-house content that would engage customers during Covid, Fagerhult tasked me with creating a quarterly newsletter that went out to all GDPR-compliant customers.
My Solution
Each newsletter was GDPR-compliant and created on mail chimp so that each time was on brand. Using audience segmentation we made sure that the brand newsletters went out to the relevant client in order to gain better open rates and engagement.
Working with the marketing teams I created quarterly newsletters promoting events, CPD and industry news as a way to engage with our customer base when Covid stopped us from hosting in-person events.
I also worked with leading salespersons in the company to create for them, weekly mailshots to engage with their personal customers and keep the relationship strong as we waited for covid to allow in-person meetings,
The average open rate is 26.3% and an average click-through rate of 4.3%, both of which are higher than the industry standard.
